Liked: Staying at Chateau de Chanteloup was wonderful. The site is beauitful - spacious, well-maintained and with all you need. The people are friendly, helpful and seem to enjoy their work, which makes the atmosphere great. The local area is peaceful, pretty and yet still close to everything you might need.

Liked: Fantastic facilities, beautiful setting, great atmosphere, and lots of things to do! A really family-friendly site, where children are safe to explore and make friends.

Could be better: Our pitch was very sandy (it got everywhere!)

Liked: A lovely campsite with everything you need.

Could be better: We stayed in the woods which is peaceful but the sand is a muddy dirty sandy making it difficult to keep everything clean. It rained and went everywhere the children's entertainers need more energy to engage the children. They seem unexperienced so the children are quite shy. They enjoy the games but soon get bored as need to mix up the activities more.

Liked: This was the fifth time we stayed here and I'm pleased that it maintains it low key, relaxing environment.

Liked: Wonderful holiday again with Valerie and Benoit and the amazing dream team. My teenagers thoroughly enjoyed the new activities for this year including the Chanteloup Olympics and the Casino night. Can’t wait book again for 2025

Could be better: The toilet blocks were not as clean as they could have been this year, particularly the block located at the entrance to the site which often lacked toilet paper and hand soap, however, they were very busy and didn’t spoil our stay at all.

Liked: Beautiful campsite surrounding a charming castle. The campsite has quite a few pitches, but never feels like a large campsite due to the pitches and other accomodations being so spread out. The saturday evening bbq is wonderful. So was casino night.

Could be better: We went wakeboarding, as offered by the campsite on their entertainment board. We met a reception at the agreed time. In the end we were just given the address of where to go. We drove ourselves, and made our own booking for the normal price. What was the point of this being 'organised' by the campsite? We would have preferred to go by ourselves at a time of our choosing.

Liked: Stayed two nights at this site. Lovely site, warm welcome & good pitch. On our first night visitors were invited to join in the sites celebrations of Bastille Day . Other social events were organised but as we were only there two days we were unable to partake. The site offers a bar and restaurant which was very popular. Facilities were clean & well-maintained.. Seating areas are arranged at various points around the Chateau for relaxing & socialising.

Liked: We love Chanteloup and have been coming for many years. Valerie and Benoit are super hosts and the site is fantastic, we love it there!

Could be better: The toilets are ready for an overhaul (lots of loose seats etc) I think and could do with being cleaned a bit more often, and the shower water wasn't always hot. The pool surround is also in need of some repairs. The on site shop is better than last year but could still do with some more stock.

Liked: We have been coming here for years and despite missing Dominique & Jean-William we feel that the new owners (Benoit & Valerie - 3 years now !) have kept it to the high stands from before and have even improved quite a few of the facilities

Could be better: Only because I work from the motorhome the wifi could be a bit more stable!
