Liked: What a great site! Lovely chateau set in extensive grounds with the pitches grouped into small ‘zones’ each offering something different. Owners were so helpful and delightfully happy and friendly.

Could be better: Nothing

Liked: Great location to stop on the way down and back up through France with the motorhome. Restaurant for evening meal. A nice estate lake to fish for carp and catfish and a lovely pool. Always a nice clientele too which the price probably helps to filter. and they do the fab classic car rally. Nice staff and charming boss . Plus dog friendly location

Could be better: No just hope by sharing this I don’t loose my favoured place

Liked: Chateau de Chanteloup was recommended to us for an off circuit stay for the duration of Le Mans 24hr. The setting is delightful and the team were so kind and helpful (Valerie, Ronan & Ines our main contacts). Our pitch was in the woods and it was peaceful and gave a little privacy. The onsite facilities are super and the loos/showers superb.

Could be better: Very disappointed with the breakfast service in the restaurant. This put us off using the restaurant again

Liked: This was my 6th visit to watch the 24 hr endurance race. Seamless service as usual from charming smiling staff who are available, willing and able. A great venue, highly recomended.

Could be better: Maybe more garbage disposal capacity? Double the number of bins available?

Liked: A return visit to Chanteloup as a stop off for travelling south. This time we made it a 3 night stay as the whole site and atmosphere is truly magical. Friendly, relaxed, authentic, all set in the grounds of a lovely chateau. Worth far more than a stop-off

Liked: Been staying at the chateau for many years for Lemans 24hr. Staff where nothing but helpful and the facilites and events that were put on were great. Toilets and showers very clean. Great place to stay at anytime not just lemans 24hr. Defo staying next year !!!
