Liked: Such a beautiful and relaxing environment, we really enjoy staying here

Liked: We stayed on the potager field which was lovely. We could pick courgettes and mint was everywhere and smelt wonderful. The site is really clean and beautiful.

Could be better: It was quite a walk to the main showers. The pool area seemed a little tired and there weren't enough beds and umbrellas.

Liked: Felt familiar and friendly. Like that the site maintains policy to avoid pitches in the middle of the fields

Liked: This is our first visit to Castel Camping Château de Chanteloup. And what a pleasure it was. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is amazing, so family friendly. Extremely clean site with great facilities. Very clean toilets, showers and washing facilities. An on site store, bar and restaurant. A lovely outdoor pool, play are with table tennis tables. We will definitely be looking at returning to this campsite.

Could be better: There was nothing on this visit we could see needed changing.

Liked: Lovely large pitch on the Pommier section overlooking the courtyard.Loved the rustic charm of the buildings around the courtyard but the shower/ toilet facilities inside were very modern and clean.The pool area was fantastic.Lovely choice of food in the restaurant and good quality. All in all a lovely setting .Very peaceful.Wished we could have stayed longer unfortunately we were only there for 2 nights.Definitely recommend.

Liked: The location, camping facilities and restaurant are all a very high standard, and made that much better by the team of young people running the site. We’ve been here a few times in the past and have never been disappointed. It’s set up really well whether you’re a couple or have a young family with you. On this occasion my wife was feeling quite ill with a bacterial infection on arrival. I spoke to a lady on site called Valerie who reassured me that if it got to a point where I thought we’d need a doctor, then I should call her at any time day or night. Many thanks Valerie!

Liked: We were due to camp at chateau de Chanteloup in our campervan but on route we suffered a broken spring and the van needed to be repaired. We contacted the chateau who moved us into the petit Appartment, saving our holiday. The team were so accommodating to resolve our issues. A wonderful experience and have booked another few nights on our way home

Liked: Cynthia pitch was spot on for interacting with others and enjoying that open space feel. Restaurant had some nice dishes under the new roof.

Could be better: Toilets need a slight upgrade. One or two new seats would help. Limited number of toilets for females -could do with a few more. WiFi was tricky to establish and the initial 2 hours lasted 15 minutes.
