Liked: Lovely spacious and peaceful site. Everything has been so well thought through.

Could be better: Swimming pool would be wonderful!

Liked: Isabelle and her team were friendly and helpful. The facilities were modern and clean. Fresh free range eggs from the farm and a wonderful farm shop kept us well fed.

Could be better: Can’t think of anything!

Liked: I chose this great campsite to be close to 2 WW1 battlefield sites that my ancestor served in 1915, the site was an ideal location and I even got to visit some preserved Canadian trenches, tunnels and the iconic memorial at Vimy Ridge. The facilities and the camping pitch were ideal for me and I was even invited to park my motorbike in one of the outbuildings!! Also, we had some heavy rain during 2 of my 4 night's and there was no flooding where I was pitched or in the communal area. The nearby town of Ballaeu is a charming place with free parking in the centre.

Liked: Hot showers, choice of pitches, great campers kitchen & farm shop. Great value for money. Very clean.

Could be better: Put toilet paper in each toilet. Kettle in campers kitchen.

Liked: Lovely welcoming lady shows you around site when you arrive , nice quiet place , brilliant base to visit ww1 sites all around

Could be better: More hooks to hang clothes in showers as all floor area gets wet Wi-Fi coverage needs extending very poor

Liked: Less than 1hr to Calais, great pitch sizes, lovely produce in farm shop, great showers, good value

Could be better: Grass on pitches needed cutting when we were there (damp feet in the morning and more insects) Drain on moho point needed cleaning out. Unnecessary for madam to walk us round the pitches, either provide a map or just point which way the pitches are. The site is not huge, but making us wait for her to be free to give a personal guided tour was not required.
