Liked: The pitch allocated to us was great A large pitch in the shade which was very welcome The facilities were always kept clean and the water hot Lots of things to do for adults and children so I can reccomend the site for families

Could be better: The pitch we were allocated had very little light at night and would benefit with more illumination

Liked: The campsite is right next to the cycle path an easy ride to Mint St Michel and has a lovely pool and bar

Could be better: Maybe a few more basic items available at the shop

Could be better: Inadequate number of toilets and showers. Swimming pool and surrounding too small. The amount of accommodation has vastly increased over the years but facilities have not been upgraded or increased.

Liked: We were lucky to have large trees around our caravan in heatwave

Could be better: Swimming pool and surrounding too small. Hard surface crumbling away. Not enough loungers and shade The toilets and showers were very alway busy because of extra pitches and accommodation. Another sanitary block is needed. Not always clean

Liked: This was a stop over on route to the south of France from Cherbourg.

Could be better: The toilet block (Sanitares) area was very dirty. Look up at the glass in the Apex of the roof. it hasn't been cleaned in 3 years. The road surface is breaking up with pot holes everywhere on the site. Weeds growing all over the place. Hedges not cut. The Bottle bank was overflowing and bottles left everywhere. The Bins were full to capacity and no place left to put our waste. This campsite has deteriorated over the past 5 years. I have stayed on this site for over 20 years. There is no investment in the facilities. You need to get your act together.

Liked: We like Halotis as it is close to town with all its amenities, it is also ideal for visiting other towns in the area.

Liked: Campsite always very clean and tidy, pool a welcome bonus and open every time we visit. Nice enclosed pitches. Short walk to town and very close to river with good cycle path.

Could be better: Bar food/drink could do with improvement. Shop could do with more basics like bigger bottles of drinking water, milk etc.

Liked: A pleasant stay in a convenient site close to a small town with all the amenities.

Could be better: The area around the pool needs attention it is starting to lift causing stones to stick into everyone's feet.

Liked: We have stayed at this site since it opened 40 plus years ago. Then it was family run and kept immaculately. It seems that since becoming a member of Seasonova the infrastructure; roads, hedges verges and fencing is now neglected. We were particularly concerned at the abandonment of the security of the fencing and gate onto the public path along the river. This site is now mediocre.

Could be better: Permanently repair the roadways, particularly from the entrance to the reception, not just loose fill! Trim the grass along the hedges, deweed the paths and reinstate the gate and fencing to secure the site from unwelcome visitors at night.
