Liked: We loved our stay, and everybody who works at Haliotis was friendly, welcoming and understanding of those of us English who want to try to speak French but just aren't very good at it! The children particularly loved the farm, swimming pool and playgrounds. We were given access even after the Accueil was closed, and the staff arranged for us to camp next door to our friends. Bread and pastries every morning, excellent ice cream, beer and coffee from the bar.

Could be better: Drinks by the pool? Having the bar next to the pool but not being able to bring them with is very tantilising.

Liked: It was fantastic! The wooden lodge is perfect!

Liked: Quality of the tent and spacious setup

Could be better: The pool size is too small for the number of people on the camping. Not enough shade in the pool and bar which doesn´t make it attractive to be there, too hot. Bed linnen not included and not available once forgotten to book Some Wood lodges are setup with an uncomfortable setting for the sun which makes it unbearable to sit in the tent or on the porch during sun hours.

Liked: Ability to hire bikes on site, layout of the site with lots of privacy for each pitch, proximity to Mont St Michel, cleanliness of site, lovely bread each morning and lovely staff who were so helpful, friendly and spoke a good range of languages.

Could be better: Warmer water in showers.

Liked: Stayed here for one night stop over on our way down through France from Cherbourg. Big pitch, peaceful location. Staff are charming, wonderful way to unwind at the start of our holiday. Hand dryers at head height in the showers was a bonus.

Liked: We had a good stay as a stop-over. Check-in went smoothly, we also made use of the swimming pool. The facilities were clean and modern. There is a children's toilet, which we appreciated!

Could be better: It was very hot on our arrival and unfortunately, there was no shade.

Could be better: Le nombre de toilettes, de douches et de lavabos est insuffisant pour répondre aux besoins de tous les campeurs. J'ai séjourné trois jours dans ce camping. L'eau a été coupée pendant toute une matinée et, pendant deux jours sur trois, il n'y a pas eu d'eau chaude. Je n'ai pas pu doucher mon fils de trois ans. Je considère qu'il s'agit d'un grave dysfonctionnement et j'estime avoir droit à un remboursement partiel du montant payé pour ces trois jours, puisque, pendant deux jours, je n'ai pas pu bénéficier des services annoncés.

Liked: Facilities were fine. Unfortunately we didn’t have air conditioning, but we knew that from the beginning, so it was just a matter of accepting. We only had one night so it was okay. Playground and animal area was fine and we woke up to the sound of horses just outside the window. Staff in reception were kind.

Could be better: It should be more clear when booking, that sheets are not included or how to add it to the booking. Pool area could use a little hand. Small stones from the ground were loose and it was not comfortable to walk on as well as some of the stones ended up in the pool.

Liked: Lovely site, beautiful pitches, friendly staff

Liked: The pool was good, the receptionbwas good, our glamping tent was fine.

Could be better: You should invest in more times a day a housekeeper for the toilets/showers. And in other shower heads and warmer water.
