Liked: Thought the snack bar was a great idea, the location was excellent both for cycling and sightseeing. Lovely shaded area for pitches.

Could be better: Firstly I think the sanitary block needs improving. I don't think it's a good idea to have the refuse bins inside this building. The whole block is cold and dismal. The hot water is not very hot and varies in different shower cubicles. The outside cafe could be cosier, with grass cut tables ready for guests and not so spread out. Reception hut and entrance needs a massive tidy up as first impressions matter.

Liked: Peace and quiet. Excellent sanitaire facilities, probably best we’ve seen.

Liked: Sanitary facilities were good. Pitches large enough with water supply.

Could be better: Location was further out of Amboise than we realised. Not really walkable there and back to do an activity.

Liked: Arrived having just smashed wing mirror - gentleman staffing site went over and above to find a garage that could fix it locally as well as extending our stay while this was done. Spacious, relaxed, beautiful trees, autumn just beginning, boulangerie two minutes walk, amboise 10minutes drive.

Liked: V kind host. Gave us a ride into Amboise which is a stunning town

Could be better: More staff in reception

Liked: La lodge était très bien équipée. Le personnel était très agréable. Le burger le soir et le petit dej le matin ont été très appréciés. Je recommande!!!

Liked: Même si le camping était complèt, l'atmosphère était calme

Could be better: Une idée: l'acquisition d'un congélateur pour les blocs de glace.

Liked: We stayed here for a week and have ni complaints at all. The camping is calm, even when the most part of the places are occupied. The reception is friendly, fhe food truck makes very good food on site wvery evening and the salted breakfast that can be ordered for the next day is delicious. There was also a fun concert that was free and that we enjoyed a lot

Liked: We stayed for a week early June. Lovely little village which is interesting to explore. There are interesting marked walks from the village into the local countryside. Of course the main plus is the location of the site. A few km from the attractions. Not far but far enough to be pieceful

Liked: With friendly and flexible staff we enjoyed our stay to visit Amboise and its beautiful castles on a very nice space with good shade on the campsite. Shower and other facilities were OK and clean and we enjoyed the food truck one night. Again very friendly personnel and the hamburgers were great,

Could be better: Maybe a renewal of the reception area would show how great the campsite is.
