Liked: A very, cosy feeling. Because the camping is small it's very personal. Beautiful location. Nice that we could order bread in the morning but also ice cream for the kids and nice drinks and fonds at the bar. The kids loved to play with the other kids that stayed at the camping. They loved the supps and the table tennis. We booked a raft trip at the camping, wich was really nice. A perfect base for swimming at the lake, hiking of cycling, visit Barcelonnette etc. We will recommend Camping River!

Could be better: The sanitary was old. Lots of toilet seats were loose. And we were not used to bring your own toilet paper. But it was fine to bring it with us. But there were several signs of poor maintenance.

Liked: The owners are an extraordinarily kind, welcoming couple who truly go above and beyond—their service is way beyond 10/10! ​Since I don't speak French, the owner made a phone call on my behalf. When water entered our tent, they instantly offered to help. They trusted us without even knowing us, letting our young kids (ages 3 and 7) get bread and ice cream freely, and lending us an electric adapter straight away. The campsite is super peaceful and silent after 10 PM. It is very clean, It has a small lake with two paddle surfboards that our kids loved. The pizza is big, cheqp and great.

Could be better: We couldn't leave the car next to our tent but parking outside after unloading is quick and convenient.

Liked: The relaxed atmosphere combined with the stunning views and natural surroundings and the super friendly owners make this one of the best campings we stayed at.

Could be better: The swimming pool is a little small but the river is there as well as a nice little swimming pond.

Liked: Our hosts were amazing, welcoming, open and super helpful, always with a smile and willing to make our stay great, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Clean and comfortable. We totally recommend it.

Liked: We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad op deze gemoedelijke en kindvriendelijke camping aan de Ubaye. De eigenaren, die in hun eerste seizoen zaten, waren erg vriendelijk en benaderbaar. Alle dagen vers brood, veel vriendjes en vriendinnetjes voor onze kinderen en ruim voldoende mogelijkheden in de buurt. Wij hebben een top vakantie gehad!

Could be better: Helaas mag in het kleine meertje niet meer gezwommen worden, dit vonden wij jammer omdat we begrepen dat dit eerder wel mocht. Desalnietemin is er een (klein) zwembad aanwezig op de camping en vlakbij een prachtig zwemmeertje (gratis parkeren)

Liked: Cadre calme et naturel sur les rivez de l'Ubaye, c'est à l'ombre de la vegetation et au bruit de la riviere que vous pourrez vous relaxer et organiser de nombreuses activités dont les départs sont situés à proximité!

Liked: Super sejour , xaming idéalement situe entre Gap et Barcelonnette bungalow tres fonctionnel, équipe tres serviable et sympathique tranquillité top

Liked: Locatie is zeer mooi. Ligt aan een prachtige, wel wilde rivier. Camping plekken in de schaduw. Eigenaresse is zeer vriendelijk en spreekt goed engels.

Could be better: Zwembad is wat klein, maar daar hebben de kinderen niet veelningelegen want in de buurt zijn meer dan genoeg leuke locaties om te kunnen zwemmen. Alternatieven voor allergie of intolleranties. Ondanks ze heel goed mee hebben gedacht om toch een avondje te kunnen eten in hun restaurant.
