Liked: The pizza evening

Could be better: Bread service. Worst bread I had in Italy.

Liked: A very well run campsite with good facilities and friendly and helpful staff. It is set in a picturesque rural valley and has a nice pool and restaurant area. The wash block is modern and kept spotlessly clean. It is predominantly a Dutch site and is very suitable for families with children (toddlers up to young teenagers) particularly in high season when we were there.

Could be better: The only drawback for us is that we were staying there so that we could visit family and friends who have a holiday home in this region. As such we were frequently driving in and out of the site in our motorhome. Due to its rural location the access is via narrow twisty turny single track roads for several miles. So the drive in and out did become a bit tiresome and you were always worried you’d meet a large vehicle or caravan coming the other way (which by pure luck we didn’t!). Finally, local supermarkets are some distance away so make sure you stock up beforehand!

Liked: Large natural camping areas, very quiet, owners very welcoming, excellent facilities, super calm.

Could be better: We underestimated how far from town the site was - small shop selling essentials would have been useful.

Liked: We enjoyed our stay, mostly due to the company we were with and the pool.

Could be better: The pool opening times can be improved. Having the pool close at 18:00 on days with 35 degrees seem very unreasonable.

Liked: The welcome we received after a long drive was amazing, and the owners of the site were so friendly and welcoming.

Could be better: None

Liked: The remoteness and peace and quiet . Birdsong . Clean swimming pool . Good restaurant . Friendly owners

Could be better: Maybe some investment in the shower block - clean but bit like prefab facilities at festivals

Liked: A fantastic, spacious campsite with a natural feel. The owners were incredibly kind and always available to help. Since it wasn’t high season, we could choose our own spot, which was a great bonus. The on-site restaurant was lovely, and although the swimming pool was a bit cold, it was still very enjoyable.

Could be better: It’s perfect, we don’t have any suggestions!

Liked: Modern clean facilities, nice bar area and restaurant serving good food. Also has a nice swimming pool area and the owners and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Could be better: The campsite itself is absolutely fine. Unfortunately when we were staying there the only access was via a long single track road which might have been problematic if we had met any large caravans or motorhomes coming in the opposite direction. There was a much shorter route in but it was closed as a new bridge was being built so this issue will be resolved at some point

Could be better: La disponibilità estremamente limitata di acqua potabile. Le campane per la raccolta del vetro un po' lontane. La mancanza di un market per l'acquisto di beni di prima necessita nelle vicinanze
