Liked: We had a wonderful time at La Chataigneraie. It's a great location for exploring nature, culture and lots of yummy local foods! Cecile and Jean are the most friendly people who made us feel welcome everyday. Also the swimming at the riverside was a great idyllic place to visit each day to cool off, about ten minutes walking distance. The wednesday bbq was a nice touch for meeting people on the campsite. Tip for vegetarians: there's a local supermarket near Les Vans where they also sell very good vegetarian food: Aux Fermes Des Rayols. And try the ravioli from à l'Aube or pizza from Chez Alex!

Could be better: There's quite some noise for example from camping neighbours (of course), the cicades and the road nearby. That's not something to fix, but good to be aware of. Also, the weather was super hot! Again not something you can control, but definitely wort to keep in mind when booking your stay.

Liked: Peaceful camping with beautifully shaded spots, surrounded by the trees. 10 minute walk to the river where you can bathe and hike. Sanitary was absolutely spotless! Very friendly owners. We would definitely recommend this campsite and will be back in the future.

Liked: J'ai laissé un avis sur Google. Les plus : les pain et était délicieux. Le service super sympa. Le camping très agréable et calme. L'ombre parfaite.

Could be better: Les moins la plage est plus loin que ce que je pensais. Les photos sûr Google mon induires en erreur. En effet sur Google il y a très peu de photos du camping, et trop de la rivière.

Liked: Un camping ombragé appréciable en période de canicule et malgré des restaurants autour du camping, nous avons pu bénéficier d'un silence réparateur. La proximité de la rivière Chassezac pour se rafraîchir. Beaucoup de sites à visiter proches des Vans.
