Liked: The family & staff are very welcoming. Even take you to your pitch on arrival. Pitch size is excellent if you have a large caravan or motorhome. Easy access to the lake if you like fishing. We’ve already decided to book again next year.

Could be better: When using the shows on an evening the light timer switch doesn’t stay on long enough. You need to take a torch 🔦 with you which isn’t perfect.

Liked: The campsite is located in a quiet area of France amongst rolling hills. It is situated around a lake and has a good range of facilities.

Could be better: No flip flops are allowed in the pool area, but on hot days the walk up to the steps to the pool burns your feet on the hot stone.

Liked: Pleasant welcome, great pitch, nice environment generally

Could be better: Poor wifi, more space at restaurant on busy nights needed. When it is busy, there needs to be a better drinks service system than one person running in and out of the bar.

Liked: The site is excellent. Well maintained and set in a super location.

Could be better: The tap and shower outlets. They spray rather than act normal.

Liked: We had a wonderful stay at Castel Château de Poinsouze. The whole campsite is exceptionally clean, tidy and beautifully maintained. Everything is thoughtfully laid out, making it a very peaceful and relaxing place to spend a few days. We're so glad we discovered the campsite at the Camping and Caravan Show at the NEC last year, as we probably wouldn't have found it otherwise. It turned out to be a fantastic choice. The location is wonderfully remote, which was exactly what we were looking for. If you want to escape the crowds and enjoy some peace

Liked: Good welcome, choice of spots to set up on, plenty of shade but with nice outlooks, super pool, restaurant & bar. Excellent facilities. Information for the area. Enjoyed a VTT cycle directly from the site.

Could be better: Nothing really.

Liked: We have stayed at Poinsouze many times now and every time we simply love the peaceful setting, warm welcome, superbly clean facilities and the great food. Again this year the team have improved the restaurant area and the site was really well presented.

Could be better: The outside dinning area needs some effective shade as the sun goes down. It spoils a great evening if the sun is beating down on you while you are trying to eat. Some shade would be wonderful.

Liked: We always feel welcome and comfortable immediately

Liked: Once again we enjoyed our stay. An afternoon swim in the high temperatures was mist welcome , followed by a enjoyable meal at the restaurant.

Could be better: A handrail along the path up to the pool would be great..
