Liked: This campsite is perfect tranquility, you cannot help but absorb the peaceful nature of this site and let it enfold you. You just instinctively slow down and kick back, a perfect antidote to our busy lives. This site is rustic in nature but the facilities are spotlessly clean, the showers powerful with ample hot water ( and no push buttons to keep pressing for the water to flow). The pool was spotless and a lovely 27 degrees. The bar and restaurant are lovely with good food on offer. The owners/managers are busy all day long which explains why the site is so clean and tidy.

Liked: How second time at Le Picard A beautiful site ,with great facilities English speaking host,Delphine looks after you , information readily available and if not you only have to ask .only 50 minutes away from the British war memorial at Normandy beaches and 28 minutes to the town of Bayeux and the Bayeux tapestry and 49 minutes to the port of Quistreham ,so ideally located for ferries ,and for any fisherman a lake with carp. Liked: We stayed here to be close to Normandy beaches and WW2 memorials. What a lovely find, a small campsite with the friendliest owners we have met anywhere. They run the site by themselves. So quiet and lots of birds to listen to. Had a nice heated pool although we didn’t get a chance to try it. Bar /restaurant is great food was really nice and very relaxed atmosphere. We stayed during the England semi final and watched it in the small bar with a few other guests and the owners , great friendly atmosphere.

Could be better: Pitch size. Felt very close to other campers.

Liked: Nice small site with good facilities. Nice ambience around the pitches. We had ample space with our caravan. The owners were very friendly and helpful. A happy site to stay on

Could be better: Sanitary facilities need improving, but loved the rain shower cubicles, bit small though. Very clean.

Liked: The owners could not have been more pleasant and helpful. The facilities are very good. It was quiet and peaceful, apart from the nearby cockerel !!

Could be better: Filling in the dip in the top of the drive.
