Liked: Relaxed atomsphere, such a pretty site great hosts very informative and helpful would highly recommend, will definitely be coming back. Great facilities for teenagers table tennis, fishing and swimming pool.

Could be better: Food in the restaurant on site was nice but very expensive for what it is!

Liked: This campsite is perfect tranquility, you cannot help but absorb the peaceful nature of this site and let it enfold you. You just instinctively slow down and kick back, a perfect antidote to our busy lives. This site is rustic in nature but the facilities are spotlessly clean, the showers powerful with ample hot water ( and no push buttons to keep pressing for the water to flow). The pool was spotless and a lovely 27 degrees. The bar and restaurant are lovely with good food on offer. The owners/managers are busy all day long which explains why the site is so clean and tidy.

Liked: Lovely family run site. Nothing is too much. When we arrived we were taken to our pitch and provided with all the information needed, a real personal touch. Shower and toilet block were clean and tidy. Nice level pitches with Sunny or Shaded pitches. The garden area was ideal and well kept.

Could be better: Maybe have bread available at 08:30 instead of 09:00.

Liked: How second time at Le Picard A beautiful site ,with great facilities English speaking host,Delphine looks after you , information readily available and if not you only have to ask .only 50 minutes away from the British war memorial at Normandy beaches and 28 minutes to the town of Bayeux and the Bayeux tapestry and 49 minutes to the port of Quistreham ,so ideally located for ferries ,and for any fisherman a lake with carp. Liked: We stayed here to be close to Normandy beaches and WW2 memorials. What a lovely find, a small campsite with the friendliest owners we have met anywhere. They run the site by themselves. So quiet and lots of birds to listen to. Had a nice heated pool although we didn’t get a chance to try it. Bar /restaurant is great food was really nice and very relaxed atmosphere. We stayed during the England semi final and watched it in the small bar with a few other guests and the owners , great friendly atmosphere.
