Liked: Friendly staff, encouraging you to attend local community events. Location for cycling to vineyards and villages is just perfect. Local people respect cyclists.

Could be better: Not the cheapest site to stay on. Even washing machines are more expensive. If you’re on a pitch near the shower block the doors do bang a lot.

Could be better: Hand soap with all the sinks in the shower rooms would be helpful.

Liked: The location is in the heart of Fleurie wine producing country

Could be better: Trees around some of the pitches need some serious pruning, to make way for the sunshine

Could be better: Pool is very small and too hot on a hot day! The nearby village was very quiet and only one massive expensive restaurant open.

Liked: Spacious pitches with elec and water, lovely bar open for bread or breakfast in mornings and drinks/food in the evening. Wine tastings and outings arranged. Can order hot food to be delivered to your pitch! Lovely walking and cycling around the local vineyards - lots of opportunity to buy wine . Big pool and kids playground. Mixture of glamping, camping and motorhomes. Will definitely stay again.

Liked: We had a good time at Camping La Grappe. Swimming pool is very good, some shade would be nice on hot days. Café was good Sebastian wine was great.

Could be better: Shade for pool areas especially children areas.

Liked: Private pitches good screening and pool was enjoyable croissant available but cost me 7€ for 2 And a half cup of milk.

Could be better: Our pitch worn out no grass other empty pitches had good grass so don’t know why we would be given this one I didn’t ask as it was just one night. Pre booked Spa but told on arrival closed for maintenance. I did get a refund but had to ask for it 60€ for 3 for one hour The electric hook up failed when a kettle was plugged in and no way of resetting without maintenance man. So no electricity till as we were leaving

Liked: Great site in a beautiful location amidst the beaujolais vineyards. Immaculately clean sanitaires, large pitches, mostly shaded because of the summer heat. Even so, it is easy to manouvre large units into place. Lots of facilities for the family and indoor and outdoor pools, but this isn't your usual noisy chain site. It is refined and great for a stopover or for a longer stay. Owned by a young couple who are full of different ideas as to what makes a great holiday. I would definitely stay again in what I think is one of the best campsites I've ever stayed in. Accepts the ACSI card as well!
