Liked: Stephane and Marie are absolutely top hosts and though the campsite is good I would declare them the best asset! Nothing appears too much for them and they enjoy making sure that their visitors get the best experience possible within their area, which they love to show off to those willing to explore. Ideally located for visiting the Beaujolais wine region. Seek their guidance to optimise your experience!

Could be better: The only thing I would like to see is an improvement in is the ventilation in the shower block.

Liked: From welcome to farewell we felt valued and looked after. The staff were a perfect blend of professional, helpful and friendly. We will definitely return for a longer stay.

Liked: The pitches were close to each other but all had lovely hedges in between , some work was being done on the shower and toilet blocks but the ones that were open were ok. A lovely bonus was free wine tasting on some nights (take your own glass). The swimming pool was really lovely, a great size to swim in.

Liked: A peaceful, well maintained site with great facilities. We stayed as part of a Go-Pod micro tourer rally of 14 Go-Pods and everyone had such a great time! Everyone made us very welcome and we upgraded to a private bathroom which was fantastic. Wonderful swimming pool, in house bakery and the site’s info app was the best we’ve seen.

Could be better: Everything was superb.

Liked: Very friendly when we arrived, lots of information. Our pitch was very good and we found toilets and showers very clean. Site is very close to a very pretty village. The site arranged a visit to a vineyard for us which was excellent. We would definitely stay again.

Liked: From collecting our wine at reception to the overall care and attention to detail on site I would think this is one of the most professional well managed sites where I have stayed. The location affords ease of access to explore local wine growers and when on site the pool and other services are first class. We used a camper van and we stayed on a premium pitch which was quiet and we also had access to our own bathroom and shower area which is very nice to have, particularly on the days where the temp was 30 degrees C. The staff are always very friendly and helpful.

Could be better: none

Liked: We stayed on a pitch with our camper, we selected the offer of a private bathroom and the wine basket tour. The facilities are clean, and the site is well organised @ professional. The pool area is immaculate and the receptionist staff were very helpful and can organise ordering bread or booking wine tours and a place in the Michelin star restuarant in the village which is a 15 min walk. It’s also possible to hire bicycles and an electric car which is very French and funky. It is a very quiet site but there’s a children play area. you can use a QR code to order food to your site.

Could be better: Fix the vending machine it is very slow and it would not accept any card or cash each time as the transaction failed over a number of days. I mentioned it at reception and they said they would contact the tech team.

Liked: Location, friendly staff and warm welcome. Good clean facilities.

Could be better: Our last night was somewhat spoiled by a very large noisy group booking. It changed the ambience and atmosphere of the whole site. If we hadn’t had 4 lovely peaceful evenings prior to the groups arrival we would have had a very different impression of the site.

Liked: Quiet site with spacious pitch. The well-stocked shop and the private facilities.
