Liked: Bicycle Trip 2026 This my friends is one awesome site. Originally I was gonna stay one night (end August/September) but it was so nice I stayed 2 nights and explored Saverne on my rest day. You couldn't ask for a better site for a cyclist. Toilet/shower/washing up block - excellent. Room for cooking/getting out of the rain - excellent. Also for charging devices. Swimming pool (included in price) - very nice on a warm day. The tent area is separate from campervans (and hence, barking dogs!), very nice area with trees for shade and picknick tables (nice touch).

Could be better: Fijne plek met de mogelijkheid om( op de fiets) naar het gezellige centrum te fietsen. Ook de fietspaden langs het kanaal zijn prachtig.

Liked: Genoten van uitstapjes en het fietsen in de mooie omgeving,

Could be better: Onze plek op de camping was niet geschikt voor een camper, de draai op het pad was krap door de coniferen en er was een ongelukkige 'zandbak', waar we ons bijna in vastreden, na veel gemanoevreer stonden we ernaast, maar we hadden daardoor ook geen handige zitplek. Of de camper nu links of rechts of achteraan stond, het bleef een hinderlijke rare zandplaat, omheind door stenen.... niet handig om het zo te laten bestaan!

Liked: We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed our time with you. We felt the site is in a good location, however our pitch was a little noisy due to the football matches at the sports ground. The facilities are basic and clean. We didn’t use the pool but looked nice. All in all a very nice stay.

Could be better: Maybe a little tender love and care like weeding certain areas of if I am to be picky.

Liked: From the moment we arrived, we were greater by a friendly staff member who spoke great English. The campsite us close to the town of Saverne and also close to many great walks. We also cycled to Plan Incline, a beautiful, flat cycle to the fascinating boat lift. Every staff member we had dealings with were very helpful and friendly and the on site catering was a bonus. We enjoyed the tartes flambé and the crepes.
