Liked: Second visit. Last year - at the end of the season - which made us want to return. This year, after long rainy spells we visited in late May. Many pitches were starting to dry out and most vistitors were motorhomes.

Could be better: Grass and some hedges need to be cut more often, especially for the benefit of early season visitors. When the toilets are hosed down the water should be squeegeed away not left on the floor all day!

Liked: Quiet, shady grass pitches between the river Loire and the canal. Plenty of hot water. Good location on edge of Briare near the marina and the canal viaduct.

Could be better: Although the facilities were kept clean they were old fashioned and tired with broken door locks. There were toilet roll dispensers but no actual toilet roll; hand sanitizer dispensers were empty; no floor mops in the ladies showers.

Liked: Briars is a lovely town. The pitch sizes were good size.

Could be better: Cut the grass. More showers and toilets.

Liked: We had a pitch with water, electricity and waste water drain. We used our van shower as the ones in the block were tired, no hooks, seats and dark.

Could be better: Update the facilities, improve the ambience by better lighting, clean the wire mesh over the toilets or even remove it, provide a better place to empty your toilet that is not a grate where the motorhomes empty their waste. More water taps around the whole site.

Liked: Fantastic location .

Could be better: One day some young lads were racing around the campsite on the green buggy. At one stage 3 of them were actually in/on it. Completely reckless behaviour, they were hurtling along the camp road going very fast around blind bends, skidding deliberately.

Liked: Hot water in showers and sinks and location. Nice welcome from young man on the reception.

Could be better: To tend to the grounds, cut hedges, clear cut grass from pitches, and trim tree branches. Some nice flower pots to brighten up the place. Clean the showers or update them. Don’t lock showers when it’s busy.

Liked: Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Sanitäranlagen sind getrennt, Toilettenpapier vorhanden. Mit Acsi Card 20€. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen

Liked: The location of site near a great town and aqueduct/canal is special. Dog walking brilliant. Pitch sizes are excellent and the backdrop of trees and river fabulous. Owl hooting !

Could be better: Limited facilities for such a large site. Reception wasnt open when stated but the waiting vans all found pitches and returned to reception later. Not a problem in low season but could have been. Dont know if the next door Aire belongs to same owner but not usable at all due to grass height.

Liked: Niet ver van autoroute en dichtbij supermarkt en tankstation

Could be better: verouderd sanitair

Liked: The receptionist, Madeline. Was very welcoming and helpful.
