Liked: Lovely campsite right by the Loire very peaceful and short walk into the pretty town of Briare le Canal. Lovely hot water to wash the dishes. Reception staff were great and friendly

Could be better: Toilets clean and tidy but a little warn

Liked: Generally very excellent staff!

Could be better: The grass is a real problem throughout. It needs cutting and a heavy roll. Each morning very wet and making an absolute mess to my outfit. Pitches need better identification, other users just walking through the pitch. Also, although I understand the income that the resident workers bring, but quite unsettling with the large groups. After all it is a holiday camp!

Liked: our stay was wonderfull Briare is wonderfull just a little bit disapointed about the swimming pool... it doesn't look like the picture :) very friendly people at the reception. thank you very much

Liked: The site has lots of grass pitches and some hard standing to choose from. There was nobody in the office when we arrived but you can choose your pitch and tell them later. The pool is small and was closed on the first 2 days of our stay until 5pm on the 2nd day but it’s great for little kids. The town has quite a few shops bars and restaurants. We ate at Le Petite St Trop which was lovely. The cycle route along the canal is lovely. Also laundry room was out of order.

Could be better: We ordered bread which was lovely but on the 2nd day we couldn’t collect it as the office was only open 9-10 and we hadn’t realised.
