We love Morrison. He came to us on Valentines Day. Only 2 previous owners he has not been mistreated or updated.

Everything in Morrison is orginal apart from the new cooker and radio CD player which incorporates a USB port.

He has been lovingly maintained and serviced. He runs beautifully, achieving approx 25 miles per gallon on unleaded. He has a radiator at the front which is linked to the engine at the rear via tubes running under the floor hence the fantastic ground clearance. Needless to say we have not dropped his suspension.

Morrison is NOT AIR-COOLED, so he will not overheat in traffic jams!

Inside he is deceptively spaceous taking on Tardis-like qualties partically when the passenger seat is swivelled 180 degrees and the roof is up. The bed is very comfortable and the Bilbo conversion roof provides an extra 2 feet head room when erected from inside, so if its raining you don't get wet putting his roof up! The roof incorporates 3 zip down windows with insect screens.

In some of the photos he is parked on the driveway exactly where you can park your vehicle whilst enjoying Morrison.

He is a real head turner for his 30 years of age.

Naturally, he has no power steering but an enormous steering wheel and turns on a sixpence.

We know you will love Campervan Morrison ... we'll see you on the" bright side of the road!"

Hiring Camper Van Morrison was a wedding anniversary surprise!! for my wife and I purposely chose him because he was the same vintage as our marriage - a little over 30 years. It all turned out to be great success and we had a fantastic 10 days in the West Country. Kevin provided a BBQ and fuel and we enjoyed the best steak and burgers imaginable. The great thing about choosing CVM is that he causes you to slow down, enjoy the journey and use the A and B roads through the countryside. This was our first time of camper van travel and we were really pleased with how well we slept each night - the double bed was so comfortable. Thanks Kev, we had a great time. May 2022
There is definitely something about the roar of a VW camper van engine that fires up a primeval wanderlust. And Camper van Morrison (CVM) won't let you down on that front. It only took a few minutes to get used to the long gear stick and large steering wheel (no power steering) and then we were off! CVM easily coped with 4.5 hours non stop driving on a hot June day. Once parked up we had access to an onboard toilet, hidden under a seat, gas cooker and sink, again all hidden away tidily. CVM is equipped for electric hookup although our campsite did not provide this. Tucked away in various storage areas were crockery and cutlery, water storage, two tables that put up inside CVM for those rainy days, table and two chairs for outside eating. And when it came to sleeping the back seats clicked down easily to form a double bed with the roof pushing up to give added headroom. Kevin made sure I knew where everything was and how it all worked with a thorough tour of the van and made it clear that if I didn't know how something worked I could contact him any time. CVM has full recovery cover for peace of mind. All in all we were very pleased with CVM, especially as this was our first foray into motorhome hire. Remember CVM is 30 years old so may not be as luxurious as the more modern versions but definitely did the job for us. A big thank you to Kevin for making this hire so easy! June 2021
