**** This RV runs on LPG... currently costing just 98p per litre !! ****

Awesome bunkhouse RV - sleeps 6+, seatbelts for 8 and runs on LPG & Petrol.

The Basics:
Hires must start OR end on a Weekend, with a minimum hire of 5 days (7 days in summer holidays).

We appreciate that some people may wish to book for just a long weekend, but this would take two full weeks out of the potential booking calendar for just a few days' income - and still require the same clean & turnaround.

Can I drive it myself?
You can drive it on a C1 licence (or LGV/HGV obviously!) but you need experience of driving larger vehicles. It's automatic with 4 cameras so it's easy to manoeuvre if you know what you're doing, but if the largest vehicle you've driven is a Ford Focus, you might want us to deliver it for you instead?!

Can I take my Pet?
Sorry, but no - it is unfair on future hirers with allergies so we unfortunately cannot allow pets.

So what's it got?
Everything. It has a built in 4kw generator, 2 x roof mounted aircon units, full size larder fridge, freezer, microwave, oven and hob. The slide outs cover almost the full length of the coach and give a massive 370 sq ft of space when extended - compared to around 120 sq ft in an AutoTrail 720 or similar. The rear island bed is a full standard kingsize, and as well as the two bunks there's a sofa bed in the lounge area along with a convertible dinette. A 2kw inverter provides 240v power without using the generator (from 2 x 100ah leisure batteries) and there is a massive amount of storage space, both internally and externally.

Hydraulic levelling is fully automatic, and a roof-mounted, fully automatic 1.2m satellite dish is connected to a sky box. Onboard Wifi is provided via a built in router offering the usual selection of Netflix, youtube etc on the 28" main TV. A 10" monitor covers 2 x side cameras, a reversing camera and a "rear view" cam for use as a rear view mirror; a fully integrated kenwood sound system offers apple play, DAB radio and a huge range of music apps. Inbuilt Microwave, oven, hob and full-size larder fridge with pull-out storage making cooking a dream.

Is it expensive to drive?
The engine is a 6.8ltr Ford V10 with over 380hp - a completely different experience to a 2.0 Fiat diesel - but when using the LPG (average cost at the moment about 62p/litre) it costs the same per mile as a typical diesel van achieving around 22-24mpg. Range of the LPG tank is circa 250 miles with a further 400 miles available from the dual-fuel petrol tank if need be.

Can you drive it somewhere for me to use, and collect it afterwards?
Delivery to a fixed location maybe possible (eg festivals, weddings etc) depending upon time and place - just ask.

Can anybody drive it?
Self Driver hirers will need a "C1" 7.5 ton licence AND be able to demonstrate experience of driving large vehicles (or hold a current LGV/HGV licence) please ensure you provide details of experience and/or licence when requesting a quote.

Can I take it abroad?
Absolutely. As a Lefthand Drive it's perfect for the continent or Ireland - the Garmin 890 SatNav features a huge 8.5" screen and is pre-programmed with the RV's dimensions and weight to ensure routes are only offered that are suitable for the coach (usual caveats however apply in that the SatNav is only a guide - it CANNOT be solely relied upon and it is the drivers' responsibility to ensure the roads/bridges etc are suitable for use). Typical cost of a ferry crossing is around £200 - £300 peak season each way.

I really can't say enough nice things about Chris and his magnificent RV! Our group of 5 rented the RV for Glastonbury and it completely made our experience. First of all, this thing is PLUSH. Less RV, more like a hotel suite on wheels. Air conditioning, super comfy seats, enormous fridge-freezer, proper shower, sink and toilet and a KING SIZED BED. Chris provided everything we needed to enjoy the week – from towels and soap to crockery and a coffee machine. Having a real shower and sleeping in a proper bed after a day at a festival is truly priceless! Chris gave us a walk through of the RV and all of its features prior to our trip, so (even for RV novices) turning on the generator and monitoring the water and battery levels was super easy. Don't be dissuaded by the fact that this bad boy requires a special license to drive, either! Chris connected us with our professional driver Gareth, who took care of drop off and pick up of the RV to our site. Coordinating with him was super easy, and he was a lovely person throughout the experience. Having a pro behind the wheel made things super easy and stress-free. And! To top it all off, Chris offered to stock the fridge with beer and snacks for us, and left us some welcome chocolates. We're already hoping we can get passes for next year and do the whole thing over again! Thank you for everything, Chris! July 2022
