Meet Trevor, our stunning, recently converted VW camper ready for immediate hire. Located in the lovely village of Stilton, next to the A1(M) between Peterborough and Huntingdon.
This is one of the most generously equipped campers you will find, with absolutely no expense spared to create a comprehensive inventory of high quality accessories and equipment for you to use and make the most of the camper.
The professional conversion was completed in 2022. The van is fully, comprehensively insured and has the highest levels of breakdown cover.
Trevor can accommodate 5 passengers and can also sleep 5 with the use of our ingenious “Field of Dreams” front cab bed. This converts the front seats into a bed for a child. As long as the child can fit between the cab doors (head to toe), then this bed will provide a comfortable additional berth.
The camper has a “West Dubs” pop top roof with 2 memory foam mattresses. The pop top has “scenic” canvas, meaning the canvas can be detached all round for unrivaled views of the sunset or stars… a great feature you won’t see on all pop tops. The pop top roof can sleep 2 people.
In the rear, the camper is equipped with a “Fabworx UK Immix” rock and roll bed. This certified, crash tested bed provides 2 seats for travel with tri-point inertia seat belts (when in the upright position) and can accommodate 2 for sleeping when folded down. You can use the additional memory foam mattress, from the pop top roof, to add an extra level of comfort to the rock and roll bed. There is also plenty of handy storage underneath.
Trevor has a brilliant night heater installed so can keep you snug and cosy even in the winter months. This can be set on a timer so it turns off once you fall asleep. The camper is fully insulated as well.
There is a fridge, gas hob and sink with running water to give you a luxury home from home on the road. We provide a gas bottle (with gas) for you to use free of charge.
Trevor’s front passenger bench seat can swivel around to face the rear of the van for socialising and meal times. The detachable table can be set up in front of the rear seats for dining and games.
The bespoke, fitted cabinets and work surface provides plenty of room for preparing food and loads of handy storage for the comprehensive selection of items we provide, and for your own luggage.
There are lights, USB sockets, plug sockets and heating controls, all incorporated into the van.
Trevor has a Fiamma F45s, top of the range wind out awning fitted to the side of the van, a great addition which gives you a lovely place to set up exterior seating or dining and extra shelter from the elements. You won’t find this great feature on all campers…. A must in our opinion!
There is also a Fiamma bike carrier attached to the rear doors to allow you to securely carry 2 bikes with you for your adventure. Can be removed upon request.
You will need to provide your own bedding.
We supply you with 2 x camping chairs and a picnic table which you can set up under the wind out awning.
The camper has fitted curtains all round plus we provide thermal interior sun shields and an insulated external windscreen wrap so you will be able to achieve near blackout and 100% privacy should you need to. Also great insulation in winter months.
Safety is paramount, so Trevor is equipped with a fire extinguisher, smoke and CO2 alarm, fire blanket and first aid kit. We also provide jump leads, tire inflator and breakdown kit just in case. The gas bottle is stored in a vented storage locker. The vehicle is gas safe certificated.
The camper has an external electric hook up point fitted, we supply you with a hook up cable, so you can tap into external power (where available).
On uneven ground, you can use our Fiamma levelling block kit with chocks and anti-slip plates to level up the camper.
Trevor is also equipped with a comprehensive set of pots, pans, utensils, crockery, glassware, dishwashing and cleaning equipment.
Tea and coffee are provided, so you can take your first break/stop before you visit the supermarket (just don't forget the milk!). We also provide salt and pepper.
Please enquire about EU use, our pricing for this listing is for UK mainland use only, but we can accommodate Overseas/European Travel, however this will incur additional fees.

• I will require a copy of the photo card drivers’ licence (address & ID must be up to date)
• I will require two proofs of address from separate sources dated within 90 days of the hire date. You
must provide a total of 2 proofs of address from the following: Electricity, Water, Gas, Broadband/Landline, Council tax, TV licence, Bank Statement, Credit card bill / statement, Mortgage statement, Polling card, HMRC self-assessment /
tax credit, Payslip, Mobile Phone Bills,
Pension letters, Car Finance Statement, Loan Statement, Property deed.
• You must be over 25 and below 79 years of age and have at least 2 years driving experience (Full UK
or EU licence)
• You cannot have more than 6 points on your licence…
Two, 3-point convictions are acceptable (i.e. 2x SP30’s, 3pts each) without referral. One single 6-point
SP30, SP50 and CU80 are acceptable subject to an additional £1000 excess. All other 6 points+
offences will require referral to the insurers.
• You cannot have more than one fault or outstanding incident/claim in the last three years
• You must not be engaged in professional gambling, sport, or entertainment, hawking or general
dealing, street or market trading, or modelling.
• You must not have been involved in more than one motoring accident or claim in the last 3 years
• You must not have been convicted of any motoring offence or have a prosecution pending other
than parking or one speeding offence.
• You must not be a jockey or person connected with racing, gaming industry or press of any sort.
• You must not have had your insurance declined and/or renewal refused and/or special insurance
terms imposed as a result of claims experience and/or have had your insurance cover cancelled by
any motor insurer.
