Our Swift Edge 486 four / six berth motorhome is a perfect family vehicle for up to 6 people or for couples who like plenty of space! There are two large lounges – one at the from and one at the rear which makes up into a large double bed – ideal if you want space during the day or can be left made up as a bed and use the front lounge instead.
Based on a Fiat cab with manual transmission this lovely motorhome has a front dinette with plenty of seating that converts into a double bed if required as well as the large rear lounge that converts to a double bed. Above the cab is another large double bed that folds up out of the way during the day. There’s a TV with DVD and a large extendable table for all the family to eat at.
Up above there’s a huge double bed with access via a ladder. This bed has its own window cozy reading light and a net to stop any younger members of the family from falling out!
The kitchen has hob, gas / electric fridge with freezer compartment and even a microwave too. An extendable worktop provides extra space for food prepartion. Crockery, pots and pans, cutlery, kitchen wipes, washing up liquid, everything you need for an easy getaway is provided.
Gas and electric heating with a wetroom shower / toilet with large fresh and grey water tanks puts the freedom of off-grid motorhoming within reach.
There’s storage under the seats for all your essentials plus a bike rack for up to 4 bikes. We provide an outdoor table and six chairs to enjoy al fresco dining.
We can provide bedding on request for a small extra fee (selectable when you make a booking) or you can bring your own bedding. Likewise we can provide a barbecue and charcoal on request, and you can keep the barbecue after your booking.
All of our vehicles are fitted with a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire blanket and fire extinguisher and come complete with a valid legally required Landlord’s Gas Safety Certificate (many rental vehicles do not have this certificate). We also provide high visibility jackets and warning triangles in case of breakdown.
All vehicles benefit from full European breakdown cover should you need any assistance whilst on holiday.
Insurance Terms:
Our insurers will provide cover for driver(s) age 25 to 79 with minimum 2 years full UK licence. We need to take a copy of your photo driving licence is required along with DVLA licence check for each driver.
Plus we need to take a copy of 2 utility bills dated no more than 90 days before the hire date for each driver. Permissible bills (in addition to one utility bill / statement): Council Tax bill / statement, TV / internet / landline telephone bill, bank statement, credit card statement, mortgage statement. The address on the bills must match the address on the driving licence(s).
No driving convictions resulting in licence suspension or more than 6 penalty points on the licence.
No persons who have had insurance declined or renewal refused or special insurance terms imposed as a result of claims experience or have had their insurance cancelled by any motor insurer.
No persons engaged wholly or partly in professional entertainment or professional sports persons.
No jockeys or persons connected with racing, gaming industry or press of any sort.
Persons who, whilst driving, have been involved in more than one fault accident during the past 3 years.
Foreign service personnel other than persons holding a full UK licence for 2 years or more.
