With so many VW T5s to choose from, what makes ours different?

First off, our van is much less industrial looking than most. With white units and wooden surfaces, it has a homely feel to it. We've also added friendly touches to enhance your stay, including colourful bunting, indoor & outdoor fairy lights that create a cosy atmosphere, and a retro selection of CDs to enjoy on your road trip.

We have adventured in the van ourselves and have added some extras that we think you'll be grateful for, including adding a rear-view mirror, increasing storage options with additional hooks, adding a washing line for drying your towels under the awning, providing a selection of cards/board games for entertainment, and we've even popped a portable radio in for those evenings around the fire.

We really value our sleep, so we've also added an extra layer of comfort by including an extra memory foam mattress; yes, you can have double comfort if you want it! Finally, additional storage boxes provide a great place to store your food so you can drive the van without everything fall off the shelves (we learnt that one the hard way!).

The van has a pop-top roof with a zip-up window so you can catch the sunset / sunrise. With the roof up, the van can sleep up to 4 people in total. If you're small (and nimble!) and don't mind cosying up, 2 adults can share the roof bed, however the space is more comfortable for 2 children or 1 adult. Out the side door is a large retractable awning that offers shelter from the rain and a we have a new solar panel on the rooftop which powers key elements like the lights whilst you're off-grid (plug sockets only work when you're plugged in to an electricity feed).

The interior is kitted out with the key things you'll need during your stay, including;

- Fridge with freezer drawer
- Kitchen utensils, pots & pans, plates, cups etc. for 4 people
- Sink (with pumped water) and washing up bowl
- Gas hob (2 rings)
- Fire extinguisher
- Plug sockets
- USB charging sockets
- Bright internal lights that can be used off-grid
- Rock and roll bed (sleeps two)
- Pop-top row (sleeps two)
- Optional bedding (1 x double duvet, 2 x pillows, 1 x bed sheet, bedding not provided for roof)
- Picnic blanket
- Camping chairs x 2
- Small camping table
- Recycling box and waste bin
- External electric hook-up cable
- Insulated blackout covers for windows

The van is a 2011 plate, but was only converted to a camper last year, so everything internal is shiny and new.
