Into adventure and freedom!
It sounds cliché, but that's how it feels like going out with the camper. We, Carola and Cheryl (2 sisters), bought our Fiat Bessie in 2019 and have enjoyed it so far.

BESSIE has 6 seats with belts and 3 fixed sleeping places. It is a comfortable driving camper (hydraulic suspension) with plenty of storage space.
The camper is especially suitable for 2 to 3 adults, or two adults + 2 children.
An extra bed can be made from the sitting area. But this is especially suitable for children. The sofa can also be used as a single bed (then the dinette remains intact and you have 3 sleeping places).

The camper is insured, including breakdown assistance and replacement transport in the event of an emergency. Just think about a continuous travel insurance before you leave.

Driver section:
2 comfortable seats (not rotatable)
Radio CD player
Isotherm (blackout) curtain can be attached to the inside

Living space:
Dinette / train seat; 4 persons (storage space under 1 sofa)
Long sofa, seating for about 3 people, or 1 person sleeping place (storage space under the sofa)
kitchen with inventory (list available)
Alcove bed, fixed 140 x 200 with window on the right side with mosquito net and curtain.

Shower room; toilet (cassette), sink and skylight
Large hanging / storage cupboard and several storage cupboards at the top
2 skylights in living room with mosquito net and blackout option.
2 large side windows that can be opened wide, also with (mosquito) curtains and blackout

Accessories:
Gas stove (3 burners)
Holding tank
Clean water tank
Fridge with (small) freezer compartment
Toilet (cassette) with air extraction, so no bad smells in the camper
Toilet / washroom
Heater with ring heating
Awning (with storm straps)
Bicycle rack for 3 (electric) bicycles

Included;
Fold-out picnic table with 4 fixed seats
Camping chairs
Height-adjustable camping table; from lounge to dining table
Kitchen inventory such as pans / crockery / cutlery / washing-up bowl / drying rack
Camping plug (and regular plug) and reel
Clothesline and clothespins
Mattress covers (molton), a number of dish, hand and tea towels are available.

You get Bessie with a full tank of diesel, more than enough gas (for cooking, for heating and refrigerator), an empty waste water tank and an equally usable toilet (emptied, clean and filled with aqua liquid). We would also like to see Bessie again (you do not have to top up gas).

At the beginning of 2021 she was chip-tuned, which makes her run even better. Two skylights have been replaced and she has been checked for moisture and she has survived that well. There are 4 new all season tires underneath (winter / summer tires).
Despite its age, the motorhome drives comfortably, mainly because of the hydraulic suspension. It is not a camper to drive fast, at 100 km / hour she drives fine.

We enjoy every time we are on the road and because of its compactness we can easily find an overnight place. Due to the environmental zones, Bessie can no longer enter all cities. We take the bikes with us and that is easy to do.

We are both independent mothers and it is wonderful to be able to relax with a drink on arrival at the overnight stay instead of setting up the camp. Even close to home, camping gives a feeling of freedom and we enjoy being 'away from home'. Being on the road with the camper immediately gives a holiday feeling; you literally and figuratively slow down. The many possibilities to stay overnight or to make a stopover also feel adventurous. And we find it tad practical that we always have a kitchen and toilet available.

I, Cheryl, drove with the children to Brittany, among other places. Initially I thought I would visit campsites, but when we ended up on a camper place in Kortrijk Belgium on the first day (very nice place by the way) I was over. What a relaxed atmosphere among the motor home. I then continued traveling with the Campercontact app as a guideline and we visited many camper pitches. The app provides a very good and clear picture of many motorhome pitches and campsites in Europe. It was a very nice adventure to keep looking for a new place and we really experienced this trip.
There are also many inexpensive places to stay in the Netherlands. For example, the SVR campsites are also recommended.

We take good care of her and assume that tenants will also pamper her a bit. We give her clean and like to get her back of course. We will then thoroughly sweep the broom for the next tenants. We use a fixed rate for this. In the unlikely event that Bessie has not been cleaned, we will increase the cleaning costs.

April 2021
