HYMW – First version Hymer Mobil based on Bedford Blitz in original condition

We bought and refurbished a 1978 HYmer 2 years ago. Until then we have always driven around in HYs, but due to a large fire we unfortunately lost these and purchasing a new HY was not financially feasible, hence the name HYMW (or nostalgia for the HY)

The Hymer has been adapted to modern times with, among other things, an electronic ignition, running water with a pressure pump and new tires. There is also a radio with navigation and reversing camera mounted in it. Finally, there is a bicycle rack on the back for 2 regular bicycles (not electric). There is no tow bar

There is 220v and 12 volts on board and the bathroom is spacious and comfortable with porta pottie and shower option (but first start the boiler if you want to take a hot shower)

there are 2 sleeping places offered by the driver and 2 by converting the train seat. on paper 6 people are allowed in but there are no belts in the back so safe transport is only there for driver and co-driver.

There is a modern Fiamma pull-out awning on the right side and a Fiamma roller awning on the left.
It is also possible to add a winter tent or a fixed awning (is somewhat larger than the pull-out awning and has a closed side.

HYMW runs on LPG and Petrol. LPG is good for 250 km (50ltr tank) and petrol is 60 liters in size.
