4WD expedition camper: Paris-Dakar

This camper really takes you everywhere.

After 9 years of service as a service truck of the rally teams KTM and Orlen in Paris-Dakar, among others, the truck was converted into an expedition camper in 2011 by a professional company. He has experienced all circumstances: from the severe cold around the North Cape to sandstorms in Mauritania. The camper is self-sufficient and equipped with every comfort: solar panels, batteries, 300 liters of water, fixed bed of 2.20 x 1.35 meters, shower, toilet, 3-burner stove, 2 fridges and 2 diesel tanks (800 liters). There is a passage between the cabin of the truck and the living unit and the seating area can easily be converted into a double bed.

Corona update: even in times of closed borders and self-sufficient "camping", this camper has proven its unique value. Beautiful trips along the North Sea Canal - from Amsterdam to the locks of IJmuiden - on the piers of Lauwersoog and Oterdum and at the Eemshaven: "rugged" places where this camper feels perfectly at home. And no lack of attention ;-)
