"Django", a reference to the famous guitarist "Django Reinhardt" and his nomadic lifestyle, as well as to the first name of the owner of this delightful camper.
The bus is as good as new, equipped with all the bells and whistles and has already given me and the children many unforgettable moments. It drives as fast as a normal car and feels at home on both adventurous terrain and in an urban environment (an underground parking lot with a maximum height of 2m is no problem). Ideal, therefore, to combine a stay in nature with a visit to a nearby city.
Django has the rock-solid standard equipment that you can expect from a VW van:
> a spacious fridge;
> double gas stove;
> a fresh and waste water tank;
> pump stone with automatic tap;
> a fold-out inner table;
> swiveling front seats and sliding rear seats;
> complete blackout above and below;
> sleeping place for 4 people (2 downstairs with an extra comfort mattress and 2 upstairs with a mattress
in combination with latoflex bottom guarantees your ideal night's sleep; protective covers & fitted sheets provided, duvet or sleeping bag & pillows to be provided yourself);
> plenty of storage options, both in the living area and in the spacious trunk at the back;
> 150 hp motor with automatic transmission;
> air conditioning;
> navigation system and adaptive cruise control;
> hands-free telephone and sufficient multimedia connections (Apple / Android car);
> very solid radio;
> heating the interior when you stay on site. This heating is economical and late
allows you to keep warm inside even in very harsh weather conditions. Even when you
upstairs sleeping (see photo from last winter).
This motorhome also offers the following surprises:
> a handy gas barbecue for outdoor use in both summer and winter;
> High-quality carpeting in the passenger and driver compartments for an extra cozy experience;
> a towbar with the option of using a bicycle rack (2 bicycles) for an additional cost of €100 for the entire rental period;
> shower bag with pump for a short refreshment;
> All necessary kitchen utensils (cutlery, plates, glasses, pots and pans, colander, cutting boards,
coasters, corkscrew, basic kitchen herbs, thermos and bialetti coffee maker, etc.). Yes, there is even and
oyster knife present and it is not there for show ;);
> a Porta Potti portable chemical toilet if desired;
> a handy lockable waste bin in the passenger compartment;
> a small gift to start your trip in a festive way. However, only to consume after you have completed the first
has reached a stop ;)
Django is delivered completely clean and ready to use (full water and gas tank, interior and exterior cleaned and the technical data checked, in particular tire pressure, oil level and windshield washer fluid).
Upon collection, I will go over all the necessary details with you and answer your questions. You will also receive an instructional video beforehand. If you have any questions during the trip, I can reasonably be reached.
The car is fully insured with extra rental insurance through Goboony and also benefits from assistance through Volkswagen.
You leave after signing a description of the condition of the car and although Django is already very clean on its own, I would like to have it cleaned again.
Always willing to answer further questions.
See you soon,
Reinhard
